Anyone who blogs should ask this question frequently. What is worth a reader’s time?
The answer is found more in how the post is written, rather than in the subject matter. A well-written post on a mundane matter is better than a poorly-written post on an interesting topic. So, I have this fabulous trip to Kenya just completed, just got back from a very interesting funeral of a chaplain-to-ministers who took his own life, and a very interesting semester starting Monday, and yet, I feel as though I have nothing worthy to say about those topics.
Perhaps it’s jet lag.
Perhaps I should stop doubting my writing ability and do the hard work of good writing.
Perhaps I should forego this nap and go see my new niece who was born Thursday.
