Tibetan Monk: ‘Time is running out’

April 27, 1999 December 23, 2016 / Observations

My (only?) front page story in the GSU student Signal Newspaper

I interviewed Palden Gyatso, a monk who had been emprisoned by the Chinese government.

Published April 27, 1999 – Read it on their site

The white scarf around his neck in the photo was a gift from me, inspired by a story in his book.
