Last Saturday, November 9, 2002, we had a protest. We gathered at the King Center and marched to Centennial Olympic Park.
The AJC touted the march as “Atlanta’s largest anti-war demonstration in 30 years…”
They also estimated about 2,500 people marched. It felt much larger, and the photos below might support a larger number.
I was proud to be there with two UU youth, Eric and Rose, and we bumped into several other UUs that we know.
